By having your work on this site you benefit from the presence of all the other Athens artists on this site. Someone searching for a particular artist may take a moment to view your work as well. Also, 75% of the visitors to the Lowery Gallery website visit the AthensArtists website as well. This isn’t meant to substitute for having a website of your own, just another way for people to find out about your work and see your art who may not have seen it otherwise. And it’s FREE! Anyone who shows an interest in your work can email his or her contact info. to the site which will then be forwarded to you.
Want to submit art to AthensArtists.com? It’s very simple:
1. You must be an Athens area artist (give or take 40 miles).

2. You may submit 1-10 images of your best work.
3. Images should be on a CD in JPEG or TIFF or Photoshop format with titles and information about each piece OR you can now email your images (preferred method) to info@athensartists.com PLEASE limit the CUMULATIVE TOTAL file size for ALL of your images to 2 megabytes or less. If you have slides or negatives of your work that will work also but there will be a small charge for scanning.
4. You should have your bio on disk also, preferably in Microsoft Word OR you can email your bio and statement AS AN ADOBE PDF attachment (preferred method) or send it in the text of an email message to info@athensartists.com
